Glycolic Peel

• Smooths rough, dry skin
• Improves texture of sun-damaged skin
• Aids in control of acne
• Can be mixed with bleaching agent to correct

• As with most peel treatments, sunblock use is

Trichloroacetic Acid Peel (TCA)

• Smooths out fine surface wrinkles
• Removes superficial blemishes
• Corrects pigment problems

Considerations:

1.Can be used on neck or other body areas
2. May require pre-treatment with Retin-A or AHA creams
3. Treatment takes only 10-15 minutes
4.Preferred for darker-skinned patients
5.Peel depth can be adjusted
6. Repeat treatment may be needed to maintain results
7.Sunblock must be used for several months
8.Healing is usually quick, much quicker than with a stronger peel such as phenol peel
